About Me
From a young age, I've always found myself surrounded and entranced by music. The way a song, a beat, or even a riff can grasp you and have you feeling a certain way or even bring a flood of memories. From simple things like my Dad and his gang unwinding over some drinks and impromptu singalongs while someone strummed a guitar to tagging along with my older brother while he and his DJ group, 4th Dimension, would play the latest and greatest beats entertaining everyone at parties with their mixing skills. Seeing the liveliness and enthusiasm that a song would provoke in a crowd, urging them to get out on the dance floor, that really sparked my interest. Not just myself but my brothers Mario and Ed as well. So much so, that we carried on and grew with 4th Dimension securing our own gigs since we were as young as middle school. Fast forward 20 +/- (ahem.wink.wink) years, I've honed in on my skills and continue to strive in keeping things relatively fresh while incorporating the classics and old school styles keeping them relevant. Contrary to what some may believe, being a DJ is more than just "pressing buttons" or playing songs. Anyone can play songs off of a playlist. Anyone. But I believe it takes skill and knowledge to know your crowd. To read them. To watch their reactions and anticipate what to play next to keep the vibe going.
